Fame Trivia Now Showing in VICBack to area selection

Mondays Time Host
Arcadia Hotel, South Yarra 8:00 PM Louise Crawford
Besides often having my nose stuck in a good book, I like to trek in Central Australia, eat copious amounts of red lolly frogs and sweat in Bikram yoga. Oh yeah, and I love to host my trivia nights cause such great people come and have fun with me!
Excelsior Hotel, Thomastown 7:30 PM Bronwyn Neal
Harp Of Erin, East Kew 8:00 PM Ritchie Hewett
I have managed the sales and operations of the Melbourne office of Fame Trivia since 2000 and have hosted trivia nights almost continuously since that time. I currently host the Coach and Horses in Ringwood, 7.30pm Wednesday and I also cover shows when someone is unavailable. I also host a large percentage of our Fame corporate and fundraising events.
I think the major appeal of our Fame Trivia nights is the relationships that develop with the host and between the teams. Trivia players enjoy the interaction, the familiarity, the camaraderie and the warmth they experience at our nights. A time to catch up with friends and make new ones. To share a drink and some food and oh, play trivia. No buttons, no buzzers, no screens - just people.
Feel free to pop in and say hi - and join in if you like. It's free - and it's fun!

Riversdale Hotel, Hawthorn 7:30 PM Craig Woolridge

Despite hosting Fame trivia nights for more than a decade, I can honestly say I can’t remember the answer to any of the questions. I reckon Einstein had it right when he said “I never remember anything that can be written down.”  While he was busy being a genius, I’ve been distracted with acting and writing gigs. I’ve had guest leads on Blue Heelers, appearances on Neighbours, Stingers and Lowdown and written for the ABC comedy Backberner.  My most embarrassing moment came as student pilot, holding up a jumbo jet after straying into Tullamarine. My teachers always said I was easily distracted.

Tuesdays Time Host
Century City Tavern, Glen Waverley 8:00 PM Rod Millen

I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.

I woo women with my sensuous and godlike trombone playing, I pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty Minute Brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Peru.

Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I play bluegrass cello, and I was scouted by the Gold Coast Suns. I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I’m bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Tuesday nights, after hosting Fame Trivia at the Century City Tavern, I repair electrical appliances free of charge.

I am an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless bookie. Critics worldwide swoon over my original line of corduroy evening wear. I don’t perspire. I am a private citizen, yet I receive fan mail. I have been caller number nine and won the weekend passes. Last summer I toured New South Wales with a traveling centrifugal-force demonstration. My deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in international botany circles. Children trust me.

I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I once read Paradise Lost, Moby Dick, and David Copperfield in one day and still had time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed covert operations for ASIO. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. While on holiday in Tasmania, I successfully negotiated with a group of terrorists who had seized a small bakery. The laws of physics do not apply to me.

I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. I have made extraordinary four-course meals using only a Mouli and a toaster oven. I breed prizewinning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan, cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka, and spelling bees at the Kremlin. I have played Hamlet, I have performed open-heart surgery, and I have spoken with Elvis.

Hosting Fame Trivia twice a week has been the greatest challenge of my life.

Dingley International Hotel, Dingley 7:30 PM Eugene Fredericks
Since joining Fame Trivia in mid-1999 I have: graduated from uni, tied the knot, welcomed three children into the world, had six regular day jobs, celebrated another four Hawthorn premierships, lost a lot of hair, and put on a bit of weight! Over all these years, the constant in my life has been my continued good fortune to be able to work as a Fame Trivia host at venues all over Melbourne. Working for Fame Trivia is definitely a passion rather than a job, and I hope that my enthusiasm comes across during all of my shows. The best part is that I am able to meet so many wonderful people each week who share my love of quizzes!

South Oakleigh Club, East Bentleigh 7:00 PM Tim Rosewarne
My regular players would know that if there is one thing I cannot abide at my shows
....is people enjoying themselves.
Why I’ve had new teams come in and on hearing a music clue....they’ll start singing, dancing or at worst both at the same time!
Obviously I tell them to sit down and keep quiet in no uncertain terms!
Trivia is a deadly serious business....not everyone gets that.
